Summer Camp 2012
What a better way to spend the summer than to stay active, learn a new sport, and make lasting friends? Bintang Badminton’s summer camps are designed to help students grow physically and mentally, to learn the fastest growing sport around, and to have fun, all at the same time! Camps will be offered in one-week sessions throughout the summer. There will be beginner, intermediate, and advanced levels. Offered at all five Bintang locations! For more details click here. Bintang Team nearly sweeps at Fall Davis Open!
Bintang Team had a close to perfect record at this year’s 2011 Fall Davis Open! We won 15 of the 19 categories, in addition to winning many 2nd and cons medals as well. Our team had over 70 students and coaches participate. It was a loooong weekend, filled with intense games, lots of team spirit, and great fun! Good job to Bintang Team!!! Ilian Perez : 2011 U.S. Men’s Singles Champion!
Congratulations to Bintang Badminton’s pro player and coach, Ilian Perez, for becoming this year’s U.S. Nationals Men’s Singles Champion! Ilian proved himself at the Adult Nationals Championship held in April. More details here on USA Badminton’s website. A big hand to Ilian for all his hard work and dedication to this sport! Bintang Team Wins Big at MIT Boston Open!
Congrats to Bintang pro players for sweeping three categories at the recent MIT Boston Open! Men’s singles champion Minh Nguyen, runner-up Fan Zhang. Men’s doubles champion Minh Nguyen and Holvy de Pauw. Mixed doubles champion Holvy de Pauw and Yun Peng (from LA). Great job! Results here.
